CS-1220

Further development of student problem solving and programming skills from CS-1210 and increased exposure to the C++ language by introducing pointers, object-oriented language features and design, exception handling, event-driven programming, and graphical user interfaces (GUI). Program debugging, memory management, secure software engineering practices, and following established language style and conventions. Lectures are reinforced with on-line programming exercises and application tasks in both the Linux and Windows environments. Prerequisite: CS-1210 C++ Programming. (Fee: $50)
