The Beginning of the End
December 12, 2011
Well, as the semester is winding down at a rapid pace, I am looking ahead to what will be my last semester as a Cedarville University student. I have received my student teaching placement and am trying to prepare myself to teach second grade in a charter school in Dayton. It wasn't my first, or even my second, choice but God's been teaching me that He is always right and although it might not have been in my plans, God's little surprises have always had a lesson and as a result.
Fall semester has been challenging but it sure flew by. It seemed like only this time last week I was getting ready to start classes and move into my off-campus apartment. It is now time for Christmas and I am finishing my last few days of my third-grade field experience. Before I know it, I will be getting ready for graduation and preparing for life after college. But it's time to focus on what is in front of me -- finishing well, and getting ready to come home and celebrate Christmas with my family.
I wish you and your family a happy holidays and a very Merry Christmas. Celebrate the greatest gift we have received -- the birth of our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ. May your household be blessed this holiday season!
