Brian TanedoSenior Admissions Counselor
If I were a CU student... I would take part in our history and government department because of the opportunities there. I would definitely take part in the Semester in D.C. working on Capitol Hill and I would most likely take the 10-day, all-inclusive trip to Israel for just $500! I honestly wish I could still be a part of it.
What is the best restaurant in the area? The best restaurant in the area is the best restaurant anywhere, Chick-fil-A.
What sets CU apart from other college and universities? I believe what sets CU apart from other colleges is its commitment to the Bible and Jesus. In a time where it’s popular for colleges to compromise beliefs in order to gain academic credibility, Cedarville stands firm and says that we do not have to sacrifice educational standards or academics in any way because of our faith. Cedarville says, in fact, our faith actually drives us to be the best in all that we do because we are working for a higher purpose.
Hometown? I lived in multiple cities within the county that I grew up in. So, I like to tell people that I am from Clay County, Florida, right outside of Jacksonville.
Degree? This semester I will graduate with a degree in Christian Ministries from Clarks Summit University.
Best place to visit around Cedarville? It is seriously difficult to choose just one place because it depends on what I’m going to do. Personally, there is a phenomenal outdoor mall called the Greene, which my wife and I frequent or for a fun day of miniature golf and ice-cream, we believe there is no better place than Young’s Dairy Farm. There is something for everyone in this area!
Bucket list item? This is going to sound a little weird, but before I die, I would like to be knighted and be Sir Brian Tanedo.
Territories? Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont
