Jennifer Benefiel-DeKryger is a 1993 graduate of Cedarville University who God has called to proclaim Hope in His world. She heard this call first during the missions conference of her freshman year at Cedarville. God led her to Hong Kong as a teacher. During a furlough visit to the United States, God introduced Jennifer to a man He had been shaping for His service as well. Todd DeKryger was a talented, aspiring physician who God was training to share hope through compassionate healthcare given in the name of Christ. When God brought them together, He aimed their hearts towards the predominantly Muslim region of Togo, West Africa. Todd, Jennifer and their boys moved to Togo to help establish a new medical ministry, the Hospital of Hope. Jennifer and her four boys are privileged to serve in chaplaincy, surgical support, pharmacy work and in the lab in the Hospital of Hope in Mango, Togo.
