National Urban Education Conference
Central State University and Cedarville University Present: Passion, Power, Performance, Now!
This conference is designed to challenge educator to do a better job of teaching and reaching out young people and learn what works and does not work in the 21st century classroom. Attendees are given the opportunity to intermingle and share ideas with all levels of stakeholders in the educational community.
Join us on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 for the National Urban Education Conference here at Cedarville University. Our featured Speaker will be Dr. Crystal A. Kuykendall. A former school teacher and university instructor, Crystal A. Kuykendall is founder and president of Kreative and Innovative Resources for Kids and founder of the Merchants of Hope Institute. She previously served as executive director of the National Alliance of Black School Educators and director of urban and minority relations for the National School Boards Association. She is a member of the Washington, D.C., Bar Association and a lifetime member of the National Urban League and NAACP. She has written four books including From Rage to Hope and the recently published Dreaming of a PHAT Century.
