The Worship 4:24 Conference at Cedarville University is on January 25-26, 2019. Co-sponsored by the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio and Cedarville University Department of Music and Worship, this conference is designed to equip and encourage worship leaders, musicians, bands, praise teams, choirs, tech crews, and students to be effective leaders.

This Weekend of Worship coincides with the Worship 4:24 conference. This weekend will include:

  • Meeting guest artists for Worship 4:24
  • Spending time with worship bands for Cedarville
  • Select bands getting a chance to play and receive feedback from worship professionals
  • Experiencing campus life with staying overnight in the dorm, attending chapel, and eating in the dining hall

Meredith Andrews

Meredith Andrews

Word Worship Music recording artist, Meredith Andrews, is passionate about writing and leading songs that keep people's hearts and minds set on Jesus. Over the course of her four Word Worship albums, the Dove Award-winning artist has been using her musical gifts, love for God, and her huge heart for His people - to teach and remind us all about the enormity of our awesome and loving Savior. Andrews, who previously was on staff at Harvest Bible Chapel in Chicago now leads regularly at The Belonging, her home church here in Nashville. As a gifted songwriter and recording artist, she has been a part of multiple songs sung by churches across America such as “Open Up The Heavens”, “Lamb of God”, “Not For A Moment”, and “Spirit of the Living God”. Andrews often leads worship at major women’s and/or worship leader conferences across the U.S., and has toured with Matt Maher, Natalie Grant, Big Daddy Weave, Vertical Church, Phil Wickham, and Michael W. Dwayne Moore

Dwayne Moore

Dwayne Moore is the founder and president of NLW International, Inc., a ministry committed to providing quality worship discipleship resources to believers and churches. These resources are written and developed by Dwayne and his team. He has served in small and large churches as worship and teaching pastor, most recently serving at Valley View Church in Louisville.
Dwayne is the author of numerous books, including the award-winning book, Pure Praise: A Heart-focused Bible Study on Worship. Other books include Pure Praise for Youth (foreword by Mark Hall of Casting Crowns), Heaven’s Praise: Hearing God Say Well Done, WorshipLife Journal, Building Strong Worship Leaders, and the church-wide emphasis 30 Days of Renewal. Dwayne’s books have been endorsed by Mark Hall (Casting Crowns), Darlene Zschech (formerly of Hillsong), David Nasser, Dr. Jay Strack, Jonathan Falwell (pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church), Steve Green (president of Hobby Lobby, Inc.) and many more. Pure Praise is a textbook for worship students at Liberty University and at other schools.
Dwayne was born and raised in north Alabama and is happily married to Sonia Karen Owsley of Lacey’s Spring, AL. They have 2 sons, Stephen and Justin.
Dwayne will be presenting a workshop titled “Strengthen Your Personal Leadership.”

Jason Stewart

Jason Stewart

Jason “Bubba” Stewart is the Music & Worship Consultant for the Kentucky Baptist Convention. He provides consultation services to churches and also coordinates music enrichment opportunities for children, students and adults. Before joining the KBC staff as a strategist in 2013, Stewart served as a part-time consultant, working primarily with junior high and high school musicians. He also served full-time as worship pastor for Parkland Baptist Church in Louisville. Stewart has a bachelor’s degree in music from Jacksonville State University (in Alabama) and a master’s of divinity degree from THE Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. Since 1989, he has served in full- and part-time music/worship positions for other Kentucky Baptist churches and for congregations located in Alabama, Georgia, Indiana and South Carolina. Stewart and his wife of almost 20 years, Stephanie, have two children: Evan, age 16 and Ashlan, age 12. As a family ministry, the Stewarts are involved in chapel services and trackside ministry for motocross and off-road woods racing events all across the Midwest. Bubba rides a KTM XC-450f with the number 999, based on Psalm 99:9, to help open doors of Gospel presentation with other riders and family members.
Jason will be presenting a workshop titled “10 Do’s and Don’ts of Worship Ministry.”

Jon Nicol

Jon Nicol

Jon Nicol is the founder of WorshipTeamCoach.com and WorshipWorkshop.com, two sites dedicated to helping worship leaders build healthy teams and lead engaging worship gatherings. Jon's served as a vocational worship leader for almost two decades and trains worship leaders and teams around the world through his workshops, courses, and online coaching. He's a regular columnist for Worship Musician Magazine and loves every January when he gets to teach at Worship 424. Jon lives in Ohio with his wife and four kids.
Jon will be presenting a workshop titled “Small Church/Big Worship: Overcoming 7 Big Challenges For Small Church Worship Teams.”

Josh Waugh

Josh Waugh

Josh Waugh is the Associate Worship Pastor at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, Tennessee and is a graduate of Samford University. He leads the church with a band, praise team and worship choir on Sundays and leads the middle school worship service on Wednesdays. Being a former youth and college pastor, he has a heart to train up the next generation of music and worship leaders. Originally from Florida, Josh moved to the Nashville area in 2016 with his wife, Susie, and their two daughters (with daughter #3 due April 2019).
Josh will be presenting a workshop titled “Millennial Worship.”

Luke McElroy

Luke McElroy

Luke McElroy is the founder and visionary behind Orange Thread Media, the parent company to Orange Thread Live Events, TripleWide Media and SALT Conferences. Beyond his ability to cast vision for creativity in live events and worship environments, he’s passionate about mentoring, leadership and teamwork.
Luke got his start in creative arts as a content producer creating animations for live events and worship services around the world. Some of the work he and his team created have been used by American Idol, Blake Shelton, Atlanta Falcons, and thousands of churches around the entire world.
Hailed as one of the “Top Innovators in the Church” in 2013 by Worship Leader Magazine as well as appeared on the Impact 100’s list of “Entrepreneurs to Watch under 30” in 2014, Luke’s been honored for his innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. Aside from leading his team, he enjoys writing, speaking and teaching on creative arts in the church by providing practical, engaging and realistic tips on becoming more creative. He’s proud to call Nashville, TN home.
Luke will be presenting a workshop titled “Automating Volunteer Training.”

Michael O'Brien

Michael O'Brien

Michael has been in full time music ministry now for over 25 years. He leads worship for Men and Women Conferences and is a singer songwriter. He is best known for being the lead singer of the group Newsong for 7 years. He has had over 10 number 1 singles in Christian music. But his claim to fame is being a husband to Heidi O'Brien and a Father to his 4 children, Meghan, Mikey, Joseph and Timmy.
Michael will be presenting a workshop titled “Putting Ourselves In Our Proper Place.”

Mike Harland

Mike Harland

Mike Harland grew up in Mississippi, graduated from Delta State University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and has led churches in worship leadership roles for most of his life. Since 2005, Mike has served as the Director of Worship at LifeWay Christian Resources. He is a published author, Dove Award winning songwriter, and a worship leader who sings and speaks nationally and internationally. His blog and podcast, “WorshipLife” is followed by pastors, worship leaders, and church musicians around the world. Mike and his wife Teresa serve in the discipleship and worship ministries of Brentwood Baptist Church and live in Franklin, Tennessee. They have three grown children – Lee, Elizabeth, and John.
Mike will be presenting a workshop titled “Worship Essentials.”

Sheri Gould

Sheri Gould

A graduate of the University of Ill, Sheri has taught voice privately for nearly 40 yrs and been a worship leader and music director in various local churches since 1986. She was the director of Good News Productions, an evangelistic outreach involving singing, drama, dance and original musicals for 13 years. She writes for Worship Musician! Magazine and tours the world with her husband teaching and equipping the Body of Christ for music ministry at such conferences as, National Worship Leader, Christian Musician Summit, Seminars4Worship, Camp Electric, Experience Conference, Worship Institute, WorshipLife, WorshipGod and many more. A home-schooling mom since 1985, she her husband Doug reside in New Jersey where she just finished home-schooling the last of their eight children.
Sheri will be presenting a workshop titled “5 Steps of Tight Vocals.”

Troy Culbreth, married to Sharmaine Culbreth and father to Troy Jr. (4yrs), Kaleb (1yrs), and Riley (6mon). Worship Pastor and Youth Pastor of Tryed Stone New Beginning Church. Visionary and Founder of Cross Worship. Student Ministry Worship Band Leader at Crossroads Church. Troy Culbreth is also an international worship ministry recording artist and song writer.
Troy will be presenting a workshop titled “Crossing Over Cultural Boundaries in Worship.”

The Worship 4:24 conference requires each attendee to complete a registration form for each attendee to be completed online or call 937-766-4444.
