The Cedarville University School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice invites applications for a faculty position as Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Pharmacy Practice, in the area of Social and Administrative Pharmacy. This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure track position. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience. Anticipated start date of July 1, 2014.
The successful candidate will teach pharmacy administration concepts, which may include pharmacy management, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacy law, health care regulations, and healthcare delivery systems. Development of a research and scholarship program that includes both independent and collaborative research in related areas is expected. The candidate's teaching must involve student-focused methods of active-learning geared primarily toward Doctor of Pharmacy students. The candidate is expected to work with faculty across disciplines to develop integrated curricular content which utilizes innovative strategies in problem-based learning methods.

A terminal, graduate degree is required
Master or PhD in area related to social and administrative sciences or a Master in Business or Healthcare Administration is preferred
Prior academic appointment or completion of a post-doctoral fellowship is preferred
Expertise in the study of economics/pharmacoeconomics, pharmacy administration/business and/or marketing
Successful candidates must manifest biblical integration of faith and learning in their teaching
Qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian
