Columbus, Ohio—As the primary radio voice for the July 13-14, 2001 Promise Keepers (PK) Conference, the CDR Radio Network (The PATH, 90.3 FM in the Dayton/Springfield area) spread PK’s spiritual encouragement, teaching, and worship to countless CDR listeners. While more than 18,000 men gathered in Columbus, Ohio, for the conference, CDR provided a live broadcast of messages, music, interviews, and commentary on July 13 and offered conference highlights on July14. Prisoners in Ohio’s 13 state correctional facilities were also able to hear the weekend of biblical messages and high-energy praise music. Listener feedback indicated that listeners who have loved ones in prison enjoyed hearing PK and were glad to know that their loved ones could hear the broadcasts in prison. CDR plans to cover Promise Keepers’ first youth conference, called Passage, on December 15. Held in Columbus, the event will feature speakers such as Bill McCartney, Joe White, Josh McDowell, and Christian music group Jars of Clay. Contact CDR Radio at 1-800-333-0601 or www.cdrradio.com for a specific broadcast schedule for Passage. The CDR Radio Network is an outreach ministry of Cedarville University, with nine affiliate stations in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. CDR can be heard anywhere around the world through the Internet, where CDR Cyber Radio has been webcasting since 1997. Visit www.cdrradio.com to listen or for more information.
