Avalon to Appear at Cedarville University

Cedarville, Ohio—Avalon, an award-winning contemporary Christian quartet, will be in concert at Cedarville University on Saturday, May 4 at 8 p.m. in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center. Avalon is known for its infectious pop style and creative vocal harmonies. With hits like “The Glory,” “Testify to Love,” and “Adonai,” Avalon has garnered a Grammy Award nomination along with three Dove Awards, 16 Dove nominations, two gold records, and 13 number one singles. Their three Dove Awards are 1999 Pop Recorded Song of the Year (for “Testify to Love”), 1999 Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year (for “Adonai”), and 1998 New Artist of the Year. Group members Jody McBrayer, Cherie Paliotta, Michael Passons, and Janna Long are currently on their Oxygen tour, having released “Oxygen,” their fifth Sparrow Records project, in 2001.
