Clarinet Tribute to Copland at Cedarville University

Cedarville, Ohio - Clarinetist Bruce Curlette will give a recital titled "A Tribute to Aaron Copland" on Friday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Dixon Ministry Center on the Cedarville campus. Accompanied by Linda Hill, Curlette will perform works by Copland, Milton Babbitt, and Donald Muczynski. Curlette is an associate professor of music at Cedarville University. He holds a B.S. from Jackson State University, a M.M. from Eastman School of Music, and a D.M.A. from The Ohio State University. Curlette has studied under D. Stanley Hasty and James M. Pyne. Hill is a faculty associate in piano and staff accompanist at Wright State University. She holds a B.M. from Capital University and a M.M. from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. The performance is free and open to the public.
