Cedarville, Ohio—CDR Radio, the inspirational Christian radio station of Cedarville University, has announced the appointment of Sheri Prater as southeast Ohio community representative and Curtis Fleck as Impact Newsroom producer. Prater is a 1998 graduate of Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio, and has served as an account executive for WSAZ Newschannel 3 in Huntington, West Virginia for the past two years. Prior to this experience, she worked for Lamar Outdoor Advertising in Huntington and served as office manager for Cradle Pregnancy Care Center in Portsmouth. Prater will work directly with churches, business underwriters, and individual partners in the southeast Ohio communities served by CDR Radio’s affiliate stations in Portsmouth, Jackson, Piketon/Waverly and Athens. She will also assist the CDR Radio Network leadership team in marketing and promotions in the region. Fleck joins the CDR Radio staff following an internship with News-Talk 1290 WHIO-AM in Dayton. Fleck graduated from Cedarville University in 2002 with a B.A. in broadcasting and an emphasis in production. The Riverton, Illinois native will serve as the chief assignment editor for CDR’s Impact News division and will also report on moral, ethical, and church-related news. Known as THE PATH, The CDR Radio Network currently operates three primary, non-commercial FM stations and six FM translator facilities, including stations in Athens, Dayton/Springfield, Chillicothe, Columbus, Jackson, New Paris, Piketon/Waverly, Portsmouth, and Richmond (Indiana).
