Cedarville, Ohio—Cedarville University will present Shakespeare`s classic comedy "A Midsummer Night`s Dream" April 4-5 and 10-12 in the Stevens Student Center theater on the Cedarville campus. Performances begin at 8 p.m. each night with 2 p.m. matinees on April 5 and 12. The tale of love and confusion has long been one of Shakespeare`s most popular comedies. In the enchanted wood outside Athens, lovesick couples become hopelessly lost and entwined in comical love tangles. Meanwhile, rustic tradesmen happen into the woods to rehearse their play and get caught up in the mayhem. The happy ending results in a triple wedding, featuring music and dancing. The play is directed by Rebecca Baker, assistant professor of communication arts. Tickets are $11 for adults and $7 for students; there is a $1 discount for cash sales. Tickets go on sale March 17.
