CU Faculty Member to Give "French Connection" Clarinet Performance

Cedarville, Ohio—Clarinetist Bruce Curlette will give a recital titled "The French Connection: 20th Century French Music for Clarinet and Piano" on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Dixon Ministry Center on the Cedarville campus. Accompanied by Linda Hill, Curlette will perform works by Saint Saëns, Milhaud, Bozza, and Debussy. Curlette is an associate professor of music at Cedarville University. He holds a B.S. from Jackson State University, a M.M. from Eastman School of Music, and a D.M.A. from The Ohio State University. Curlette has studied under D. Stanley Hasty and James M. Pyne. Hill is the production manager for the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and the organist for Heritage Presbyterian Church in Mason. She holds a B.M. from Capital University and a M.M. from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. The performance is free and open to the public.
