Cedarville University President Speaks at Government Forum

Cedarville, Ohio - Dr. Bill Brown, president of Cedarville University, spoke at the Foundations Forum which was held at Bryan College (Tennessee) on Sept. 27. Brown brought the opening address on worldviews and politics. The Foundations Forum is a program sponsored by the Center for Law in American Government at Bryan College. Headed by Sen. David Fowler, the Forum brings in speakers to help Christian state lawmakers understand their role in government. Lawmakers from 10 different states attended this year's session. Presentations were made by speakers from The University of Texas and Covenant College. Brown became president of Cedarville University on June 1 following a 10-year presidency at Bryan College in Dayton, Tenn. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he holds a master of theology degree and a Ph.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary. As a nationally-recognized expert in worldview, Brown has authored three books and more than a hundred articles for journals, magazines, encyclopedias, and newspapers. -30-
