Day of Prayer To Be Held At Cedarville University

Cedarville, Ohio - Cedarville University's Spring Day of Prayer will be held Wednesday, March 5. The Day of Prayer is a biannual event at Cedarville University and includes a special chapel service and student-led prayer events throughout the day. At 8:15 a.m., the Student Government Association will lead a "Concert of Prayer" in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center. The concert will include corporate singing and group prayer. At 9:30 a.m., Dr. David Jeremiah, a 1963 graduate of Cedarville and senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, Calif., will speak in chapel. A well-known conference speaker, Jeremiah is the host of the radio program Turning Point, heard on more than 900 outlets. He has authored many books, including Sanctuary, My Heart's Desire, Slaying the Giants in Your Life, and The Power of Encouragement. At 11 a.m., another prayer time called "Looking Out" will be held. Four different rooms, each with a different emphasis, will be open for prayer. The focuses will be local colleges, Cedarville's national and international missions teams, and missionaries around the world. All Day of Prayer events are free and open to the public.
