Cedarville, Ohio—Junior high, senior high, and college students will be coming together for a weekend of heartfelt worship, humorous skits, and passionate teaching at the eighth annual Youth Alive BLOWOUT at Cedarville University. More than 3,400 youth are expected to gather at Cedarville`s Dixon Ministry Center Nov. 7-8 for this year`s BLOWOUT, titled "The Revolution." This high-energy event, held from 9 p.m. Friday night to 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening, features Ken Rudolph, a sought-after youth speaker, and Dannah Gresh, author of the best-selling book Secret Keeper. The Paul Colman Trio (PC3), which received the 2003 New Artist of the Year Dove Award, will perform, and worship leader Steve Fee will lead praise time. More than 3,300 young people attended last year`s BLOWOUT. Bryan Waggoner, the director of BLOWOUT, shared, "Each year, students mention that they loved the music and had a great time, but the greatest impact was the preaching and the way the Lord worked in their lives. Youth leaders from other churches have given testimony to lasting changes in the lives of their teens as well." This event is co-sponsored by Cedarville University and Bethesda Baptist Church of Brownsburg, Ind. The event`s goal is to encourage students and adult leaders to make a revolution in their lives; have a passion, love, and intimacy for God; and stand courageously for Christ.
