Cedarville University Hosted 1,900 Children at Junior Jam

by Public Relations Office

Cedarville, Ohio - Cedarville University recently hosted 1,900 third through sixth graders at Junior Jam, a program that uses games, hands-on activities, and rallies to teach biblical principles in a fun way. The day's activities centered around the theme "Underwater Expedition: Finding Friends in Fishy Waters" and taught how to find and be a good friend. "What an incredible day we had at Junior Jam!" said Janice Supplee, who coordinated Junior Jam. "The kids learned great lessons about friendship: working as teams, accepting others, protecting boy/girl relationships, and dealing with peer pressure." In addition, more than 500 Cedarville University students volunteered to serve as group leaders and help with activity stations or lunch. "I'm always amazed by Cedarville students and their hearts for ministry!" Supplee declared. Cedarville will host an identical Junior Jam program Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004.
