Cedarville University to Host Tommy Nelson's Weekend Seminar on Passion, Intimacy, and Romance

Cedarville, Ohio—"Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth — for your love is more delightful than wine" (Song of Solomon 1:2). When nationally known speaker Tommy Nelson talks about the passionate romantic relationship referred to in the Bible in the book Song of Solomon, people often ask: "Is this really in the Bible?" Indeed it is. In fact, this Old Testament book is filled with advice on how to have an intimate and romantic dating or marriage relationship. It is also full of strategies on how to attract a quality mate, how to fight fair and not dirty, and how to be committed for a lifetime. These timeless truths speak to a wide audience of people seeking to improve their romantic relationships or find a mate. "The Song of Solomon is the mystery book of the Bible," says Nelson. "It is rarely read, much less discussed in any circle. Yet the advice and truths it contains provide much-needed knowledge to anyone in or looking for a relationship." Nelson is a dynamic speaker who combines humor with truth in his nationwide "Song of Solomon" conferences. Cedarville University will host Nelson`s Song of Solomon conference in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14. Several thousand single and married adults from the Miami Valley are expected to attend. Conference times are 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Tickets are $30 per person if purchased by February 2. After that date, tickets are $40 per person. College students, active military, and groups of 10 or more receive discounts.
