Cedarville, Ohio—Cedarville University will host area high schoolers in the annual Policy Debate Institute June 7-18. The Institute will offer students two intensive weeks on campus to study debate theory, practice debate and public speaking skills, and develop competition-ready research files and cases. The Institute is directed by Dr. Deborah Haffey, professor of communication arts and a Cedarville resident. The event is sponsored by the Miriam Maddox Forum, a group of Cedarville alumni who encourage individuals to take their ideas and values to the audience of American society.
