Record Attendance Expected for Cedarville Youth Weekend

by Public Relations Office

Cedarville, Ohio—More than 1,200 junior high students from neighboring states are expected to converge on Cedarville University Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28 for CedarMania. Students from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia will participate in a variety of fun activities designed to engage them socially and challenge them spiritually. Registration for this year`s CedarMania is at a record level. The youth in grades 6-9 will enjoy a high-energy, action-packed, all-night event with a student praise band, exciting competitions and crazy games, a late-night pizza party, and much more. More than 400 Cedarville University students have volunteered to help with the event — doing everything from planning and leading games to working as a small group leader or serving pizza. "The University students bring incredible energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and effort to the process," Event Coordinator Janice Supplee said. "Most give up an entire night for ministry and receive only a long-sleeved T-shirt in return." Media interested in covering this event should contact the public relations office at 937-766-7808.
