Cedarville, Ohio—Dr. Franco Gandolfi, Cedarville University Associate Professor of International Business, was again named to the shortlist judging panel for the Australian Human Resources (HR) 2005 Awards, having previously served in 2003 and 2004. Gandolfi, a former resident of Narrabeen, Australia, joined the Cedarville faculty in the fall of 2004. He stated, "I am proud of this honor and the opportunity to serve on this committee on behalf of Cedarville University, which has been specifically named as the only university [participating] outside of Australia." As a shortlist panel member, Gandolfi worked with leading Australian HR academics and consultants to determine which candidates reached the final selection judging panel. Gandolfi`s own HR background includes consultation to finance, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries in Australia and Switzerland; research published in reputable HR journals; speaking engagements at international HR conferences; and writing a book on corporate downsizing (in progress).
