His activities could include teaching undergraduate classes, conducting seminars, interacting with students and the campus community, and meeting with alumni. Upon announcing Scharnberg`s appointment, DBA Chair Ron Walker said, "Mr. Scharnberg`s keen interest in students and the DBA at Cedarville University as a trustee and advisory board member has already proved to be of great value. This expanded role will bring him into contact with many more students as he informs, challenges, and inspires them in significant ways. His experience and determination in bringing a start-up company to a preeminent position as an OEM of medical electrodes and hydrogels creates a story that our students need to hear." The DBA is the largest department at Cedarville University and offers majors in accounting, finance, international studies (global economics and international business), management, management information systems, and marketing. The department`s goal is to help students integrate biblical principles with business disciplines in a collaborative, technology-savvy learning environment.
