Cedarville University Women's Choir to Perform

Cedarville, Ohio-The Cedarville University Women's Choir will be in concert on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of Cedarville's Dixon Ministry Center. The choir is directed by Cedarville resident Beth Cram Porter, assistant professor of vocal music. The 50-voice choir will sing two settings of Shakespeare texts (one traditional, one jazz-inspired), two arrangements of Stephen Foster songs (one traditional, one jazz-inspired), and a cappella selections which include "Three Prayers from the Ark," composed by the director's father, James D.
