by Public Relations Office

Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University's Department of Business Administration (DBA) has been named one of the nation's top Christian business programs in "Business Reform" magazine. The September/October 2005 issue of "Business Reform" evaluated business programs at Christian colleges and universities across the country. In rating Cedarville first in the "Most Biblical" category, "Business Reform" said, "[Cedarville] not only presents a strong Christian worldview in its program, but also requires students to attend chapel, while providing opportunities for student ministry in other ways." Also, Cedarville was ranked second in the "Dean's Choice" category, where colleagues voted for their top business program. Last year, "Business Reform" named Cedarville one of the nation's Christian business programs most dedicated to making biblical principles a foundation of business education. Dr. Ron Walker, chair of Cedarville's DBA, said, "Business programs of study at Christian colleges and universities have been increasingly recognized for their quality academic experiences. They continue to attract some of the top students from across the country and prepare them extremely well for the challenges in the practice of business on a global stage for the glory of God. The DBA at Cedarville University is glad to be a part of such dynamic advances among Christian business programs." Cedarville's DBA has approximately 340 students majoring in one or more of its six programs: accounting, finance, international studies: global economics and international business, management, management information systems, and marketing.
