Early Music Ensemble to Perform at Cedarville University

Cedarville, Ohio—The early music ensemble Wind in the Woods will be in concert at Cedarville University on Saturday, Sept. 10. The 7 p.m. concert will take place in the Recital Hall of Cedarville University`s Dixon Ministry Center. Wind in the Woods brings to life medieval, renaissance, and baroque music via instruments such as recorders, crumhorns, gemshorns, and lutes. Their Sept. 10 program is called "All In a Garden Greene" and will musically illustrate an imaginary tour of European manor grounds circa 1600. Directed by Beavercreek resident Margaret Erin, Wind in the Woods aims to encourage interest in early music, entertain, and educate. The group has performed extensively in Ohio and beyond since its inception in 1990. Admission to the concert is free and the public is invited.
