by Public Relations Office

Cedarville, Ohio—As part of Cedarville University`s Homecoming festivities, a Prism of Praise Concert will take place Friday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. and a Homecoming Parade on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 9:30 a.m. The parade, which will take place along Main Street of Cedarville, will focus on the theme "Friends for Life." Held in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center, the Prism of Praise Concert features all of the department of music and art`s vocal and instrumental groups, including the concert chorale, men`s glee club, women`s choir, Jubilate, symphonic band, orchestra, jazz band, and brass choir. Many of the music faculty members will give solo performances. Stationed at various locations around the chapel, the groups will perform in an uninterrupted, continuous flow format. Praise coming from many different directions and groups yet focusing all together on God illustrates the concert theme of "Prism of Praise." Both the parade and the concert are free and open to the public. For more information, call 937-766-4159. -30-
