Science and Math Day 06

Cedarville, Ohio-High school students (public, private, and homeschool) from the Dayton area can experience college-level science and mathematics firsthand at Cedarville University’s eighth annual Science and Math Day, Saturday, Nov. 18.

After an introduction to the Cedarville University Department of Science and Mathematics, guests can take part in interactive laboratory demonstrations in biology, chemistry, earth science, geology, mathematics, and physics. The afternoon will also include an exciting science demonstration.

Cedarville’s outstanding science facilities, which include 20 laboratories as well as a Jeol nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer and Perkin-Elmer Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer, will be open for tours.

During the day there will also be a faculty/student mixer, premed question and answer session, and an opportunity to interact with a financial aid representative. The admissions office will provide each guest with a complimentary meal pass redeemable for either lunch or dinner in the dining hall.
