Cedarville, Ohio-Pastor/teacher Dr. Tony Evans and Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel are just a few of the featured speakers of the 2006 State Evangelism Celebration at Cedarville University. "Preaching the Word, Impacting the World" will take place February 27-28. A special invitation is extended to pastors and ministry leaders, but the general public is also welcome. The State Convention of Baptists in Ohio and Cedarville University sponsor this free conference of challenging messages and renewing music. Conference times start at 1:45 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27 and at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb 28. Speakers will include Dr. Tony Evans, Dr. Ergun Caner, Dr. Johnny Hunt, Dr. Dennis Swanberg, Dr. Calvin Miller, Dr. Tim Beougher, and Dr. Bob Reccord. Music will be led by Anthony Evans Jr., This Hope, and a variety of Cedarville University music ensembles. Jim Tressel, head football coach of The Ohio State Buckeyes, is the featured speaker for the Feb. 28 lunch program. While all of the other portions of the conference are free, the cost of the Tressel lunch is $10, and reservations must be made by Monday, Feb. 20.
