by Public Relations Office - Cedarville, OH

Cedarville, Ohio—The University invites high school students to discover the Department of Business Administration firsthand on Saturday, Nov. 17, at their annual Business Day.

Visiting students will attend informational sessions, hear about careers from the prominent organization Students in Free Enterprise, and interact with University students, faculty, and alumni. Amanda Graves, junior SIFE officer, says, "Business Day is a great way to get a glimpse of the departments different majors, classes and special programs. … For me, one of the most exciting opportunities is participating in the integrated business core junior year, where you create your own business from start to finish." This practicum is considered by many to be what distinguishes Cedarville's program.

Parents will participate in their own session, titled Crafting a Successful Business Program. Cedarville offers six distinctive majors-accounting, finance, global economics and international business, management, management information systems and marketing.
