Family Literacy Night

There are several benefits that are going to come from Lite racy Night. First of all, it will be a great opportunity for parents to come into the school and get better acquainted with reading techniques. These techniques will help improve their children

Second, this will be an excellent opportunity for Cedarville University Education majors to work with the surrounding communities and exhibit their interest in the improvement of reading skills.

There will be several different stations set up throughout the night which will inform the parents of ways in which their children will be able to grow in their reading skills. One of the stations that will be present at the Family Literacy Night will allow the parents and their children to work together to make a book about a family vacation by looking at a picture of a vacation spot.

On top of that, the families will be able to engage in entertaining and educational activities that will help them become aware of the importance of literacy in their homes.
