The Glass Menagerie Set for CU Stage

by Public Relations Office - Cedarville, OH

Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University will conclude its 2006-07 theatre season in March and April with Tennessee Williams’ masterwork, The Glass Menagerie.

This haunting American classic speaks as profoundly to our 21st century way of life as it did when it premiered in 1945. Its timeless themes of enduring family crises, escaping reality, and dreaming of a better future resonate powerfully in our turbulent times.

Performances are March 29-31 and April 12-14 in The DeVries Theatre on the Cedarville University campus. Shows begin at 8 p.m. nightly with 2 p.m. matinees on March 31 and April 14.

Tickets go on sale March 15; cost is $12 for adults and $7 for students. Call 1-866-612-0014 for more information or visit www.cedarville.edu/theatreproductions.

The play is directed by Matthew Moore, who is an assistant professor of communications at Cedarville University.
