CU Hosts SCBO Evangelism Celebration

Cedarville, Ohio—This year’s Evangelism Celebration, held at Cedarville University on Feb. 25-26, addresses the importance of building relationships and renovating communities, as emphasized in its theme “Breaking Down the Walls.” The State Convention of Baptists in Ohio sponsors the event and invites pastors, ministry leaders and the general public to attend.

    Sessions begin at 1:45 p.m. on Monday and 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A variety of guest speakers, including Emir Caner, Scott Dawson, Eric Geiger and Willie Jacobs, will address attendees on an array of topics. Throughout the conference, This Hope and Cedarville University’s Heartsong will present special music. All sessions will be held in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center.

    On Tuesday, the Sports Evangelism Luncheon will feature Doug Martin and Zane Vance, football coaches of the Kent State University Golden Flashes. Although all other sessions are free, the luncheon requires registration.
