Cedarville, Ohio—It’s just not Christmas without some things — a well-lit tree, overflowing stockings on the mantle, and the Cedarville University Christmas Concert. In fact, this perennial favorite is sure to usher in the holiday spirit for your entire family!
Join the students, faculty and staff on Sunday, Dec. 7, as they come together to celebrate the joy of the season. University President Dr. Bill Brown and his wife, Lynne, will greet the guests, professor of English Dr. Edward Spencer will read the Christmas story, and associate professor of music Roger O’Neel will lead the audience in singing carols.
Various musical groups — including the Women’s Choir, the Symphonic Band and The Demerits — will be featured along with a duet of “10,000 Joys” by music faculty Beth Cram Porter and Mark Spencer. Also featured will be special guests Janelle Criner and Gene Foiles. The evening will conclude with the choirs and the audience joining in a rendition of the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah.
