Cedarville, Ohio—On April 16, 1963 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. penned a powerful letter to local clergy from a Birmingham jail.
CU faculty and staff will take turns reading aloud King's letter from a theatrical replica of the Birmingham jail. The public is invited to listen from 8a.m-5p.m. in the Steven's Student Center.
The University will also celebrate King's life during a chapel program set to begin at 10 a.m. in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center.
The chapel presentation can be heard on CDR Radio, The PATH® (90.3 FM locally), at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. as well as online at www.ThePath.fm. CDR Radio, The PATH®, is a community-supported media ministry of Cedarville University.
