Trumpeters Unite

by Public Relations Office—Cedarville, Ohio

Cedarville, Ohio—The world of trumpeting takes center stage in the upcoming Ohio Chapter of the International Trumpet Guild Conference at Cedarville University.

The conference’s program provides a range of opportunities-musical exhibits, concerts, master classes, workshops and meetings. A lunchtime concert by the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Trumpet section promises to be a treat for all attendees.

Other nationally renowned performing artists will also be visiting. Prolific jazz recording artist, composer and arranger Kim Pensyl will coach aspiring jazz musicians in a morning workshop. Michael Sachs, principal trumpet of the Cleveland Orchestra, will lead a master class and host a recital later in the day.

All trumpeter enthusiasts, whether professional or amateur, are invited to develop their skills and relationships with fellow musicians.
