Voddie Baucham Headlines Fall Bible Conference

Cedarville, Ohio—Author, Bible teacher, professor and apologist Dr. Voddie Baucham, Jr., will be the featured speaker during the 2008 Cedarville University Fall Bible Conference on August 18-21.

Baucham will speak five times during the four-day conference. Cedarville University President Dr. Bill Brown will open the conference by speaking on Monday, Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Baucham will speak at the 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. services on August 19-20 and at the 10 a.m. service on August 21.

As a husband, father, pastor, author, professor, conference speaker and church planter, Baucham wears many hats. He currently serves as pastor of preaching at Grace Family Baptist Church in Spring, Texas. He has served as an adjunct professor at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas, and at Union University in Jackson, Tenn. He has also lectured at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Baucham holds degrees from Houston Baptist University (B.A. in Christianity/B.A. in sociology), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.) and Southern California Seminary (honorary D.D.). He also completed additional postgraduate study at Oxford University.

All of the conference sessions will take place in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center on the Cedarville campus. The conference is free and open to the public.
