New Academic Leaders Appointed

Cedarville University is proud to announce newly appointed academic leadership for the 2011-12 school year.

The University has appointed Mark McClain, Ph.D., as the associate vice president of the college of professions. The college of professions is comprised of the departments of business administration, educationengineering and computer science and media and applied communications.

Steven Winteregg, D.M.A., will assume the role of associate academic vice president for the college of arts and sciences. The college of arts and sciences includes art, design, and theatre; biblical and ministry studies; English, literature, and modern languageshistory and government; music and worship; and science and mathematics.

Pamela Johnson, Ph.D., will assume the role of assistant academic vice president for the college of health professions. The college of health professions consists of kinesiology and allied health, nursing, psychology and social work.

Michael Kane, Ph.D., will assume the role of assistant academic vice president for educational resources. Kane will oversee institutional effectiveness, accreditation services, international studies, international student services and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).

Daniel Estes, Ph.D., will assume the role of the inaugural director of the Center for Biblical Integration. Estes will expand his work of engaging faculty in the field of biblical integration and will develop strategies for engaging the larger Christian community in exploring life, faith and learning.

Andy Runyan, Ph.D., has been appointed inaugural senior associate vice president for the college of extended learning. The college of extended learning will house the academic enrichment center, the center for teaching and learning, continuing education, dual enrollment and summer school.
