Baseball for Children’s Heart Surgeries

On Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m. the Cedarville Yellow Jackets will face the Urbana Blue Knights at Cedarville University’s sixth annual Baseball Classic at Fifth Third Field in Dayton.

The evening will include in-game entertainment and giveaways, featuring friendly student competition between the universities. The Dayton Dragon’s mascot, Heater, will also make an appearance.

All the proceeds from the event will benefit the Preemptive Love Coalition and Caring Kitchen emergency shelter for the homeless in Urbana. The team’s goal is to raise $2700 to provide four Iraqi children with heart surgery.

Tickets may be purchased ahead of time for $3 or at the gate for $5. A ticket and food package (hot dog, chips and a drink) is also available for pre-purchase of $7. Suites are also offered for up to 15 people for $75 or $150 with the food package. The suite is furnished with heating and air conditioning, refrigerator, cable TV and leather furniture.
