Cedarville alumnus Ben Kanzeg '97 has been appointed as Ohio Governor John Kaisch's deputy director for policy. He served as deputy policy director for Governor Kasich's campaign. And previously, Kanzeg served as a political aide to Congressmen Pat Tiberi. In his new role, he is responsible for policy formation, administration of the governor's policy staff, and implementation of the governor's policy agenda. A social studies major who specialized in secondary education, Kanzeg graduated from Cedarville with highest honors and a 4.0 GPA. Kanzeg lives in Columbus with his wife, Laura (Daeschner) '97, and their two daughters.
