Brewster to Hold Worship Workshop at Cedarville

by Public Relations

On Saturday, Feb. 26, Lincoln Brewster, guitarist and acclaimed worship leader, will present a worship-music workshop from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Lincoln Brewster was born and raised in Alaska. Coming from a home with an abusive stepfather, it was Lincoln’s mother who instilled a love for music in Lincoln. By the age of 19, Lincoln had mastered the guitar and landed a performance with Steve Perry, former lead singer of the band Journey. Soon after earning a mainstream record, Lincoln gave his life to Christ, walking away from the promise of rock stardom to take a job at his local church. Since then, he has signed with praise and worship label Integrity Music, performing and crafting songs which include “God You Reign,” “Salvation is Here” and “The Power of Your Name.” Lincoln’s new album, “Real Life,” captures transparency—the celebrations and heartaches—in lives of Christian believers.

Brewster and his band will present four sessions: guitar clinic, songwriting, creating a flow in worship and an instrumental clinic. He will present at Cedarville University in the Dixon Ministry Center Recital Hall.
