The Cedarville University Department of Music and Worship is pleased to present the following spring concerts and recitals:
- On April 11, the Concert Chorale, Men’s Glee Club and Vocal Arts Ensemble will present an end of the year concert at Cedarville University. The repertoires of the musical groups include choral masterpieces, anthems, spirituals, patriotic numbers and contemporary praise pieces. The concert begins at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
- On April 14, the Cedarville University Orchestra invites the public to a spring performance under the direction of Jun Kim, assistant professor of music. The concert will feature the piano, instrumental and voice works of Cedarville’s Student Concerto Competition winners. The concert begins at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
- On April 18, the Opera Ensemble invites the public to a spring concert under the direction of Taylor Ferranti, D.M.A., associate professor of music and art. The theme is great scenes from musical theater and operetta. Featured composers are two American icons, Leonard Berstein and Stephen Sondheim. The ensemble will present scenes from “Candide,” “Sunday in the Park with George” and “A Little Night Music.” The concert begins at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
