Denver and the Mile High Orchestra Coming to Cedarville

by Public Relations

On Friday, December 3, the community is invited to hear Denver and the Mile High Orchestra in concert as part of Cedarville University’s annual Campus Christmas Celebration.

In 1999, Denver Bierman and fellow students from Belmont University combined the music they loved with a pop style and an engaging stage show and hit the road. The orchestra blends a jazzy horn section with big band roots to create a sound unlike any other. Bierman writes and arranges the band’s music with sounds from Stevie Wonder to Chicago to Earth Wind and Fire for a new contemporary pop style. The group has enjoyed success, winning many opportunities to perform music and share their testimonies on the radio, primetime television and tour dates all over the world.

The show will be held in the Dixon Ministry Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $8 online at www.cedarville.edu/concertseries, on campus at the Stevens Student Center information desk, by calling (866) 612-0014, and at the door before the performance.
