On January 29, 2011, students from across the country will attend Cedarville University’s Nursing Preview Day. This event is designed for high school students and parents interested in learning more about the Nursing program. The event is free, but registration is required. Online registration closes January 24.
Visiting students will check in at the Stevens Student Center (SSC) in the morning before being introduced to various aspects of the nursing program at the Engineering, Nursing, and Science Center (ENS). Over the course of the day, students and parents will be able to meet department professors and students, learn more about career opportunities in nursing, talk about the profession with Cedarville alumni, and participate in interactive sessions prepared by department faculty and students. At 5 p.m., visiting students who choose to stay overnight on campus will meet their host students in the SSC.
“Nursing Preview Day is a fantastic opportunity for students to spend time interacting with nursing faculty, current students and our state-of-the-art nursing labs,” says Sarah Allen, associate director of undergraduate admissions. “From gathering helpful financial aid information to watching a mock code in a lab, Nursing Preview Day offers prospective students and their families a unique perspective on what it means to study nursing at Cedarville.”
