The service will start at 10 a.m. and features Williamson as the speaker. The service will be held in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center at Cedarville University. This event is free and open to the public.
Williamson is the author of “Making Disciples Who make a Difference” and “One But Not The Same: God’s Diverse Kingdom Come Through Race, Class, and Gender.” He has served as the chaplain for the Gospel Music Association, has worked on several boards committed to racial reconciliation and community development and has often been called upon to preach in chapels for high school, college and professional sports teams. Williamson also serves on the board of trustees for Cedarville University.
Williamson earned his B.A. in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and his Master of Religious Education from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Currently he is pursuing a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership from Regent University. He was ordained in 1992 under Dr. Allen McFarland and Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church and was a member of the pioneer Christian rap group Transformation Crusade for six years.
