Cofield received his Master of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Ministry at Faith Evangelical Seminary.
In 1994, Cofield was chosen to serve as the senior pastor for Good Hope. Since that time, the church has grown from a congregation of approximately 150 members to an active membership of more than 3,000.
Cofield is a former instructor at Dallas Theological Seminary and a former adjunct professor at the College of Biblical Studies - Houston. He additionally teaches nationally and internationally in the areas of Christian education, expository preaching, pastoral ministries, worship and educational leadership.
The morning service will start at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, featuring Cofield as the keynote speaker. This will be held in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center at Cedarville University. This event is free and open to the public.
