Cedarville University continues to surpass national averages in employment and graduate school statistics according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), demonstrating the University’s commitment to preparing students for excellence and success.

According to the NACE employment and graduate statistics in 2010, Cedarville has 10 percent more students either employed or in graduate school compared to national averages. Additionally, the number of students employed is 15 percent higher according to the NACE. And out of these percentages, 84 percent of these students are immersed in their discipline of study.

Jeff Reep, director of career services, states that these numbers have significant implications for the greater Dayton area.

“Over two-thirds of the students who attend Cedarville are from outside of Ohio,” Reep said. “Cedarville brings talented students to the Miami Valley region, and many students decide to stay here and contribute to the local economy.”

Out of the 635 graduates in the class of 2011, over 30 percent have remained in Ohio for either graduate school or employment.

Reep also shared that Cedarville’s career services is dedicated to providing a variety of links between job seekers and employment providers, and the office is intentional in recruiting businesses. He stated that Cedarville’s high employment and graduate school statistics reveals that the University attracts intelligent students with character who are then trained by excellent faculty members.
