Cedarville University recently received a $100 thousand dollar donation from the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Trusts administered by the Fifth Third Foundation. The funds support the University’s $14 million Health Science Center (HSC) capital campaign.
“We are grateful for the investment community partners are making in Cedarville University,” said Bill Bigham, University Vice President for Advancement. “Even in difficult economic times, Fifth Third continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to higher education and the students we serve.”
The HSC is among the first visible steps the University is taking to become the premier, Christ-centered training facility for health care professions. Cedarville is educating students to meet not only the physical needs of patients but their emotional and spiritual needs, as well.
