Mark Dever, President of 9Marks Ministry, To Speak in Chapel

Pastor Mark Dever will speak at Cedarville University’s morning chapel service on February 14 and 15, 2012 as part of the 9Marks Pastors Conference, at which he is the keynote speaker.

Dever serves as the senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. He holds a M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, a Th.M. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in ecclesiastical history from Cambridge University. He is the president of 9Marks and has taught at a number of seminaries.

9Marks is a ministry dedicated to equipping church leaders with a biblical vision and practical resources. The organization believes that the local church is the focal point of God’s plan for displaying His glory to the nations, and that the Bible is sufficient for the life of the church.
