Ohio Senate Recognizes Theatre Program

The Ohio Senate recently recognized Cedarville University for outstanding attainment after its theater program won 12 DayTony Awards from the Dayton Theatre Hall of Fame. A letter of congratulations commended the theater department for enhancing lives by bringing the beauty of the stage to the community.

The DayTony Awards recognized Cedarville’s outstanding performance and design for its 2011-2012 theater productions, which included “And Then There Were None,” “The Crucible” and “The Star-Spangled Girl.”

Cedarville’s winter musical, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” will open Jan. 31.
