A passionate and expressive ministry for Cedarville students committed to spreading the Gospel of Christ, OneVoice uses a variety of musical styles to create a high-energy environment of worship that celebrates the diversity within Cedarville and the body of Christ.
From gospel and traditional to original and contemporary, the two-disc CD project features 26 tracks and more than two hours of music, including live music from Cedarville’s chapel services. There are also a few original songs on the CDs, including “Receive Our Praise,” “Make Me Holy” and “Less.”
The project includes guest artists such as Michael Dorsey, former Biggest Loser contestant and founder of OneVoice, local artist Isaiah Templeton and Jillian Robinson, a worship leader at A House of Prayer (AHOP) in Xenia, Ohio.
According to Justin Spann, director of OneVoice, the album is also a celebration of OneVoice’s 13 years of fervent, cross-cultural ministry. “We establish a community of worship and ministry that is intended to both celebrate our differences while transcending them in order to exalt the name of Jesus Christ,” he said.
This project is significant and unique for OneVoice, as it highlights the variety of styles of music it sings and also shows the student body unified through the live recordings of its ministry. “It’s a labor of love that is evident from listening,” said Spann.
